Art Club

Club Description: The Cathedral Center Art Club is celebrating its 10th year this school year! Members include any students in grades 5-8 who are serious about art and thoroughly enjoy learning and doing art. The club meet approximately 10-12 times during the school year, usually on Wednesdays from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Each member will be required to pay annual dues (around $10.00) that covers snacks for the meetings. Annually, we create the official school Christmas card and visit the Erie Art Museum.

Club Description:

Cathedral Choir

Music Director: Mr. William Herring

Group Description: The Cathedral Children's Choir is a professional choir made up of 17-20 children in grades 3 through 8. The choir sings at the St. Peter Cathedral Sunday 9:15 AM Mass at least 3 times each month during the school year. In exchange for the hard work involved in practices and performances, each choir member is eligible for a monthly stipend ranging anywhere between $30.00 - $50.00. The Children's Choir is a wonderful experience for CC students. The choir receives intense training, which often leads to opportunities for major roles at the Erie Play House and Cathedral Center's own annual school production. Many of the children involved in the past have received music scholarships for high school, largely due to their involvement in our choir. Tryout rehearsals are conducted in September of each year. Ski Club

Club Description: The St. Peter Cathedral Center ski club members travel to the Peak 'n Peek on Friday nights for an 8-week period beginning the first Friday in January of each year. Students participating in the ski club are able to ride a charter bus directly from school to the Peak for an additional charge or arrange their own transportation to the ski resort.
